Such a Fun Time

Wow what a weekend! We did lots of stuff
Played, Wrapped all the Christmas Presents
[yeah thats right we are done christmas shopping and they are wrapped!]
,

Watched the Game, Went Grocery Shopping/Road Trip Snack Shopping, Played, Hung out with Sanja and Sam, Played, Played then I think we Played!
Daddy and Squirmy watching the game together and NO we are not cheering for UTAH my boys are O-H-I-O fans
Squirmy practicing his programming skills [he is pretty good ;)]

Then Squirmy Helped me wrap the presents by watching the bows and making sure they didn't run off now each gift has a personally Squirmy chewed bow! [he is a great helper!]

What a fun weekend it was I can't wait till the next one!

Downward Dog

Squirmy and I started doing Yoga together
Right after he gets out of the bath before his bed time story
This wonderful lady named Helen Garabedian came up with this "Parent Led Yoga" which just means you do the yoga for them; stretching there legs out ect
she has an awesome book called
ITSY BITSY YOGA [poses to help your baby sleep longer, digest better and grow stronger]
They do have classes you can go to but none in UTAH sad for Squirmy and I
but if you are not a fellow Utahian you can go here to see if your state has one
Sense we can't go to a class I turned to the trusty old YOUTUBE to see if some one had video tapped a class I could learn from
** ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE **
they do all there yoga by song so I choose if you
HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT
The Song goes like this [you just do the movements the song says for the baby]
IF your happy and you know it stretch your legs
**CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it stretch your legs
** CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it and you really want to show it if you happy and you know it
Stretch your legs
IF your happy and you know it Touch your nose
**CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it
Touch your nose
** CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it and you really want to show it if you happy and you know it
Touch your nose
IF your happy and you know it Wiggle your hips
**CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it
Wiggle your hips
** CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it and you really want to show it if you happy and you know it
Wiggle your hips
IF your happy and you know it Tickle the tummy
**CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it
Tickle the tummy
** CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it and you really want to show it if you happy and you know it
Tickle the tummy
IF your happy and you know it clap your feet
**CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it
clap your feet
** CLAP CLAP**
IF your happy and you know it and you really want to show it if you happy and you know it
clap your feet

Here is the video to help clarify the movements you should do

Squirmy laughs through the entire thing and even helps me touch his feet to his nose
then he is out like a light as soon as we put him in the crib !
Happy yoga-ing

Weekend Crafts

Yay for weekends and crafts!!
Lately I have been working on a baby boy blanket set
two mistakes I have made with this project
1. I am trying a new pattern [do not attempt to do something you don't know how to do when you have two weeks to finish the project]
2. I have evidently chosen a popular yarn because Walmart was out of it when I went to get what i needed to finish this project [buy more yarn then you think it will take you can return it or use it later]
So I will post the pattern when I complete the project so that it isn't all over the place because of now I honestly don't know what it is or the best way to go about it !
So the first thing I did was make 20 Granny Squares [I was going to make 30 but... out of yarn]
Then I added a SC white border around each square

Now I am stitching them together
After this I just need to add a border so hopefully I will be able to wrap it up by Friday so I can do the hat mittens and booties this weekend!

Family Fun

This morning we got up bright and early for all kinds of holiday fun
First there was a Santa is coming to town Parade
Then there was Yummy FREE chic-fil-a

Then it was time for Squirmy to meet SANTA CLAUS

Then we bought Squirmy a hoodie and hat from my new favorite kid shop naartjie
all their clothes we so cute and so unique [no to mention they were having a fall sale and the cashier gave us an extra 30% off coupon]

And to wrap up all this holiday fun we took a ride on the Carousal

The only things missing were our buddies Sanja Sonny and Sam oh where could they have been?

Sense Squirmy is a solid food eater now I have started making his food for him
He is 6 months old so he is a step 1 which simply means his food needs to be the consistency of a liquid aka no chunks.. This process is quite easy, saves a lot of money [a jar of baby food is 49 cents and higher], and Squirmy likes the home made stuff a lot more then the store stuff [that makes me feel shiny]
So the process I follow is
1. pick up some fresh produce [this week we are having bananas]
2. then add one cup of the fruit and one cup of water to the blender
3. place it on the blend option for 15 seconds
4. separate it into servings and freeze them in either a container or bag
if your having veggies you need to boil them till tender before blending to get the smooth consistency
2 bananas last a week for us which is about 21 feedings
here is a good place for some recipes and different processes for cooking for baby

Weekend Craft

I love fall, and I love picking up leafs like a little kid running from brightly colored leaf to brightly colored leaf .. So I decided to make something with my leaf collection
It was really easy I just picked up some really pretty leafs... fashioned a wire hanger into a circle... then made a pattern and hot glued them on...then some ribbon and possibly some poison berries I found out side and bang a fall wreath!

Apple of My Eye

The snow came to early it ruined all my plans!
What plans you ask?
Well This weekend I am adding these little beauties to my winter wardrobe

I had dreams of putting these two on paired with a Brightly colored scarf/mitten/hat combo
running out of the house and twirling around in the new snow while my hubby contemplated how sexy I looked
but the snow has come and so I will just have to make due with this fact

I love to crochet its so much fun & relaxing to make something by hand!
