Crafty

I love to crochet its so much fun & relaxing to make something by hand!
But sense I am a working mom it is hard to find time to do stuff like this so I usually spend my lunch time a work crocheting a way here are some things I have made lately
[this was a little hat/bootie/mitten/blanket set for our friends Clay and Jenna's new baby]
For this little set I used a deep blue baby soft yarn its looks so delicate it reminds me of lace and I love the little hint of white that is woven in the pattern for these little mittens is a beginners pattern ....

PLACE MARKER

rnd2=sc in each stitch bl (30)
rnd 3-9=dc dec (15)
EDGING
rnd1= ch 2 ; hbc (30)
rnd2-3= ch3 hbc chl (15)

rnd 4= ch4 dc, ch1, dc (15)
TIE (white yarn)
Chain 50 thread through mitten

Booties ....
BOOTY
rnd1= ch14; 3sc in 2nd ch from hook; 5 sc, 6 dc, 7 dc in last loop (repeat the above for other side); 2sc join
rnd2= ch3, 2dc in sp, dc in next st; 2dc in next st; 11 dc; 3 dc 1dc (toe); dc 11; 2dc ;1dc join

rnd3-4= ch3; dc 45
TOE
rnd1=9 dc; 4decrease; 9dc
rnd2=8dc;3decrease; 8 dc
rnd3=join
EDGING

rnd 2-3= ch2, hdc ch1;
rnd4-5= ch4, dc,ch1,dc

rnd 4=1 sc in next st 2 sc in next st (30)
rnd 5= 1 sc in ea st (30)
rnd 6= 1 sc in ea st for 2 st 2 sc in next st (40)

rnd 8= 1 sc in ea st for 3 st 2 sc in next st (50)
rnd 9 =1 sc in ea st (50)
rnd 10= 1 sc in ea st for 4 st 2 sc in next st (60)
rnd 11= 1sc in ea st for (60)

repeat 11 until desired length

BLANKET this is a pattern I made up
