Why being Mrs. Mayberry is the best gig in town

I have many jobs I am a mother and a tester but my favorite job of all is being
 Mrs. Mayberry
Not only does he love me, take care of me, and cook me yummy steak and eggs
but he needs me

I came home from the gym and my sweet hubby was wearing his dress shirt and socks and basket ball shorts, playing video games and eating spray CHEESE out of the can.
He looked up at me and said honey this is what my life would be with out you!

Mommy I am a big boy

Matty is now  5 months old. He has been sleeping in a beautiful little cradle with the cutest bedding his daddy picked out for him sense birth. This cute little cradle that rocked my baby to sleep for exactly 150 days has now been retired. Saturday morning we got up early and ventured out into the cold to IKEA but it was closed [yeah I can't believe we were out early enough for a store to be closed either]... So we thought to our selves oh were oh were should we go I thought hot chocolate was in order but the hubby decided it was off to wallmart because we had other earns to run  we browsed down the crib ile and there it was the most shinyest perfect crib for my little squirmy..and oh the mattresses we finally just chose the most expensive one because we didn't know which one to pick and figured we couldn't go wrong with one that had a 14 year warenty, although I am pretty sure matty will not be sleeping in this bed 14 years from now.. After placing the bed box and mattress on the "BIG" cart we realized we had a problem there was no way that these boxes were going to fit into Kacie car ... Can any one say STRANDED. So we called up Kurt and he saved us YAY for Kurt.. As soon as we got home the hubby got going on what he loves to do  best put things together, and i began to dig the bedding that I had bought for his nursery almost a year ago out of storage and after taking the crib halfway apart and a door off the wall we finally had the cib up in our room ready to be test drived be one very cute squirmy Results= Big boy bed was a success

Your eyes were the size of the moon

Dear squirmy as your dad and I put you to bed last night I looked down at you and felt a wave of love come crashing over me and it reminded me of the day we had you as you and I stood at the window looking at the moon that was shining back on us you looked at me that day with those same eyes and I have come to realize I am truly in love with you! You turned five months old on Saturday and you have grown so much!

-you are now wearing size 2 diapers
-you wear 3-6 months clothes
-you now sleep in a crib
-your favorite toy is a lamb that you got for your baptism
-SOMETIMES you sleep through the night
-you have been to four different states Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado
-you have PARTIED HARD in Las Vegas
-your new nick name is squirmy
-your so close to saying mama right now its mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-your had your first taste of ice cream
-you now eat baby food (1st bananas)
-Daddy is your favorite person
-your giggle cracks us up
-you can stand up in your jumper with out pillows under neath it
-you have sat up unsupported for several seconds
-you like it when daddy gives you your bath
-you love to splash in the bath and eat your rubber duckies
-you love your new baby Einstein movie "babies first sounds"
-you make the funniest facial expressions with your eyebrows
-you got to see your grandma Mayberry this month and possible your new grandpa mike
-you threw up on both auntie Emily and uncle Scott
-you got your very first cold :(

Black Jack

Before I share with you the exciting happenings of last weekend I would like to take this time to do some parent bragging. Friday when I picked up Matty from day care his teach asked me if she could keep him and said that if all the other babies were as good as him her job would be easy *pats self on back*

So anyways we went to Las Vegas. I was so excited about this trip because I had never been before and couldn't wait to see all the lights and excitement. We saw the pirates show, the espn center, the secret garden which had a 14 day old baby dolphin that was so so so cute, the old strip and the light show there, my mother and law and I got our pictures taken with the chip N dales hehe. We stayed at Circus Circus and did alot of walking. Although the second day there we did get an eletric little car and rode around in that which was an experiencse in its self. All in all this was a great trip kacie and I got to spend alot of time alone thanks to Kurt and I can't wait to go back for my 21st Birthday YAY

THE FAIR

This last weekend we went to the State fair with our friends Sanja, Sonny, and Sam. We walked around looking at all the animals .. I tried to convince Kacie to let me buy a bunny he wouldn't he said I already had a matty... We discovered that they show pigeons yeah I was surprised too.. Sam got to ride the ponies..We got our pictures taken in the Trident both. A clown had the never to call me and I quote "A young mother who needed to be educated" just because I asked for a balloon for Matty .. Its not like I was going to let him play with it unsupervised we don't let he stay in a room by him self unless its bed time.. Needless to say after many attempts of trying to walk away from her and telling her I'm not stupid she let me have the balloon on his behalf[some people are very brave] Needless to say she wasn't a very funny clown and the hole reason for taking matty over there was because he had been watching her and laughing... All in all it was pretty fun outing and kacie told me a really fun joke even though at the time I didn't realize it was a joke and was taking him seriously

Sarah-Oh really i didn't know that so am I debabyinated
